MessageMediator helps you send an email or text to anyone, kindly and safely. Before anything is sent, an AI editor reviews your message for tone, threats, harassment, risky statements and oversharing, shows calmer versions with what changed and why, and asks you to cool down if you wrote it in anger. SendGuard then holds it briefly so you can still cancel. Replies are vetted the same way before you see them. Mediation rooms, a Meaning Lens for messages you receive, voice notes, follow-ups and a searchable record you control are all included.

Questions
How does the review work?
Write your message (or record a voice note) and press Review. An AI editor scores it for anger, distress, threats, harassment, defamation risk, oversharing and legal risk, explains what it found, and offers specific edits, a calmer version and up to three alternatives with what changed and how it may land. You accept, edit, redo or hear it read aloud. Nothing is sent until you choose.
What are the intelligence levels?
Clear is a fast check on Claude Haiku (free for a limited time). Insight and Diplomat use Claude Sonnet for deeper, multi-perspective help. Strategist uses Claude Opus for high-stakes and multi-party matters. Each level uses a different number of credits.
What is the cool-down timer?
If a message reads as written in strong emotion, MessageMediator holds it for 10 to 60 minutes. You can send the calmer version right away, edit and review again, or wait for the timer.
Can I unsend a message?
Every message waits in SendGuard first (10 seconds to 1 hour, or a time you schedule). Cancelling while it waits is guaranteed and refunds your credits. Once an email or text is delivered it is on their device and cannot be pulled back; you can withdraw it from their MessageMediator page, edit what they see there, and send a correction. Withdrawn messages stay in your own history, marked.
Can I send photos and videos?
Yes, by email, after they pass a safety check. Photos are checked by a vision model; videos have their pictures and soundtrack checked. Anything not checked yet, or that fails, is never delivered.
What happens if a message is threatening?
Threats, harassment, sexual content aimed at the recipient, hate and bulk or marketing messages are refused and never delivered. Repeated reports from recipients suspend sending on the account.
What if I am in crisis?
If a message mentions suicide or self-harm, MessageMediator shows support first: call or text 988 in the US (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or your local emergency number. You can still reach out to the person you are writing to.
How does the other person reply?
Each message has a private reply link. Email recipients can also hit Reply, and text recipients can text back. Replies are reviewed before they reach you. On the reply page the other person can also ask for gentle help understanding your message and suggested calm replies.
What is a mediation room?
A shared space you invite the other person into. They see the ground rules and exactly what the neutral AI facilitator can see before they join. Posts are reviewed, private notes stay private, and the facilitator summarizes agreed facts and open issues and drafts an agreement that is only final when both of you approve. Either of you can leave at any time.
Is my history saved?
Yes, and you control it. Every conversation, mediation and withdrawn message is kept in your own record with a timeline, search and filters by person, date, channel, topic and emotion, and a PDF export. While you write, "what was said before" with that person appears. You can export everything, delete anything, or set automatic deletion.
